The TRILUX LiveLink Premium light management system ensures optimum lighting quality and high energy efficiency through automatic or semi-automatic control of the lighting. It can be individually configured for operation of the lighting as required. The planning, configuration and commissioning of the system is carried out by TRILUX specialists. The system can be operated via push buttons and, alternatively, with a tablet in a graphical interface that has been created in consultation with the customer on the basis of a project sketch, e.g., floor plan or schematic diagram.
The TRILUX LiveLink Premium light management system is based on the combination of a network server with one or more DALI/Ethernet gateways. A gateway is equipped with connections for 2 DALI lines, each of which can be used to connect 64 DALI devices. Additional Ethernet switches can be connected in a cascaded manner so that, in principle, installations with an unlimited number of DALI participants can be realised. In addition to the DALI luminaires, control and operating elements such as LiveLink DALI PB4 push button couplers and LiveLink DALI sensors can also be connected here.
For the installation at hand, the server acts as the central control device that combines the DALI par-ticipants on the DALI lines of all gateways into a superordinated system. Depending on how powerful the server is, a virtually unlimited number of luminaires can be controlled.
Optionally, the LiveLink Premium system is offered in the form of ready to-use packages – Server Kits as the core system and the Extension Kits for expanding the system. Server and Extension Kits are installed in a housing ready for connection. There, all components are already mounted and wired on a mounting rail. In addition to connecting the control lines of the DALI lines to the gateways, it is only necessary to connect the power supply and, if necessary, a superordinate Ethernet to the server.
For the commissioning of the LiveLink Premium system, which is done with the help of a tablet, a WLAN router is also required. The latter is also required if the system is to be operated with a mobile end device (tablet with iOS ≥ 13) and is not a component of the LiveLink Premium system.
